CVE-2024-27455Network attack vector

Unauthorized file access via exposed session token

Published Feb 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024

Session-token exposure in Bentley AssetWise ALIM Web and Information Integrity Server allows remote attackers to access unauthorized files. Under certain configurations, file-download handling exposes the requesting user's ALIM session token, and the server accepts that token for files outside the user's permissions. Exposure requires the affected configuration and a user download attempt; Bentley has not disclosed the specific configuration setting or code locus.
