Traffic exposure via improper server certificate verification
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Improper certificate validation in Toyoko INN App before 1.13.0 for iOS and 1.3.14 for Android allows attackers to read traffic. The server-certificate validation path fails to reject a crafted certificate, allowing a spoofed server to terminate the encrypted connection. Exploitation requires man-in-the-middle attackers to control the network path, such as through a malicious wireless access point, and enables eavesdropping or spoofed data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
