Kernel memory corruption via oversized channel bitmap

Out-of-bounds write in Linux ALSA USB audio allows physically proximate attackers to corrupt kernel memory via crafted device descriptors. The convert_chmap function copies each set wChannelConfig bit into chmap->map and increments the index without stopping at the declared channel count. The flaw is reached while the kernel parses a malicious USB audio device, and excess bits write beyond the allocated channel map.
