Account changes via forged authenticated requests
Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
CSRF in PLANET IGS-4215-16T2S firmware 1.305b210528 allows remote attackers to change accounts through an authenticated user's session. The switch web interface processes account-add and account-update requests from an active session without verifying that the user intended them. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to submit attacker-controlled web content; resulting changes are limited to actions permitted by that session.
