Credential disclosure via missing backup-file session checks
Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
Information exposure in PLANET IGS-4215-16T2S firmware 1.305b210528 allows remote attackers to read administrative backup files. The web server returns /tmp/ram.log, /tmp/running-config.cfg, and /tmp/backup-config.cfg without verifying that a valid session exists. Network reachability to the management interface is sufficient, and the disclosed files contain the device username and password.
