CVE-2024-27367

Heap-data disclosure via unchecked userspace length

Published Sep 9, 2024 · Updated Mar 14, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in Samsung Exynos mobile and wearable processor firmware allows local users to disclose heap data through a crafted length. Samsung reports that slsi_rx_roamed_ind() fails to validate a userspace-supplied length before a heap read; the CVE record instead names slsi_rx_scan_ind(). Published assessments disagree whether low or high local privileges are required; both bound the impact to confidentiality.
