CVE-2024-27366

Heap data disclosure via unchecked userspace length

Published Sep 9, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in Samsung Exynos 980, 850, 1080, 1280, 1380, 1330, 1480, W920, and W930 allows local users to disclose heap data. The slsi_rx_scan_done_ind() function trusts a userspace-supplied length without validating it before a heap read, so the read extends beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires highly privileged local access and exposes adjacent heap contents; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
