Information disclosure via XPS out-of-bounds read
Published Apr 1, 2024 · Updated Mar 12, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in PDF-XChange Editor 10.1.1.381 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via a crafted XPS file. The XPS parser fails to validate user-controlled data before reading beyond an allocated object. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the disclosure supports a separate code-execution chain when combined with another vulnerability.
