Stored XSS via unencoded Custom Actions data
Published May 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus before 14730 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through Custom Actions. The same unencoded Custom Actions renderer affects ServiceDesk Plus MSP and SupportCenter Plus through 14710; saved attacker-controlled data runs after another user opens a request, opens the custom menu, and clicks an Execute script action. Exploitation requires the SDAdmin role and victim interaction, and the published impact is limited to browser-side data modification.
