SQL injection via unparenthesized parameter substitution

SQL injection in pgx before 4.18.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through crafted simple-protocol query parameters. Query.Sanitize substitutes an unparenthesized negative numeric argument after a preceding minus, creating a double-dash comment that exposes the following string argument as SQL. The path requires the non-default simple protocol, both placeholders on one line in the required order, and attacker control of both values; successful injection can read or modify database data.
