Service interruption via HTTP/2 memory exhaustion
Published Apr 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Denial of service in IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 18.0.0.2 through 24.0.0.4 allows remote attackers to exhaust server memory. HTTP/2 request processing consumes memory without adequate allocation limits when an affected servlet feature is active. The condition requires servlet-3.1, servlet-4.0, servlet-5.0, or servlet-6.0 with HTTP/2 enabled and can interrupt the application server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
