Command execution in IBM AIX 7.2 and 7.3 and VIOS 3.1 and 4.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands through invscout. IBM has not disclosed the defective operation inside invscout or the input that reaches it. Exploitation requires a non-privileged local account and grants arbitrary command execution on the affected system.
