Weak cryptography in affected IBM MQ Operator releases allows remote attackers to decrypt highly sensitive information over a network. IBM identifies the flaw in MQ Container cryptography used by Operator and queue-manager images but does not disclose the algorithm, protocol, key handling, or code locus that is weaker than expected. Exploitation requires network access and conditions IBM rates as high complexity; the reported consequence is confidentiality loss only.
