Local privilege escalation via unchecked policy write

Out-of-bounds write in Android 13 ACPM policy validation allows local users to elevate privileges without user interaction. The policy_check function in fvp.c omits a bounds check and writes beyond its intended buffer while validating firmware policy data. Exploitation requires existing low-privileged local execution on an affected Pixel device and can grant higher privileges without user interaction.
