Stored XSS via missing AJAX nonce validation
Published Mar 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Andrei Ivasiuc Fontific | Google Fonts 0.1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to store malicious JavaScript. The ajax_fontific_save_all handler accepts forged settings changes because it omits valid nonce verification, permitting script content to be saved. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to visit an attacker-controlled link, after which the stored script executes in a visitor's browser.
