Stored XSS via unsanitized API token
Published Mar 27, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Cloudways Breeze 2.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via breeze_api_token. The plugin stores the breeze_api_token setting without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, causing supplied markup to execute when an affected page is viewed. Administrator-level access and subsequent user interaction are required, and exposure is limited to WordPress Multisite or installations with unfiltered_html disabled.
