Remote code execution via falsified session identifier
Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Path traversal in Toshiba Tec e-STUDIO TopAccess allows remote authenticated users to overwrite files and achieve code execution. TopAccess accepts a falsified session identifier and uses attacker-controlled path data to place or overwrite arbitrary files on the MFP. High privileges are required, and code execution depends on chaining with another vulnerability; the standalone effect is arbitrary file placement.
