Execution with unnecessary privileges in Toshiba Tec e-STUDIO MFP firmware allows local users to execute arbitrary code as root. Most internal programs run as root rather than separated service accounts, so compromise of any such process grants control of the entire printer. Exploitation requires high-privileged local access and prior compromise of a device program; the consequence is full code execution on the MFP.
