CVE-2024-27121Network attack vector

File access and code execution via path traversal

Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 16, 2024

Path traversal in OMRON NJ/NX controllers allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to read files or execute code. OMRON has not disclosed the request handler, path field, or validation failure that permits a crafted request to escape its intended directory. Administrative access to a controller interface is required, after which the request can expose arbitrary controller files or run unauthorized code.
