Remote code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Sep 11, 2024 · Updated Mar 11, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Simple Online Planning SO Planning before 1.52.02 allows remote attackers to execute server-side code. The process/upload.php endpoint moves files under their original names into www/upload/files// without restricting types or extensions, allowing a .htaccess file to enable an uploaded PHP payload. Unauthenticated reachability requires non-default public view mode, which grants a publicspl session; otherwise valid application credentials are required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
