System compromise via hardcoded unencrypted credentials

Insufficient credential protection in affected GE HealthCare EchoPAC and ImageVault products allows attackers to compromise host systems. The products retain operating-system credentials in hardcoded, unencrypted form, exposing secrets that grant access to the underlying Windows host. Physical access to a device is sufficient; EchoPAC Software Only is affected before 206.44 only with EchoPAC Share, and compromise can expose patient data or render the system unusable.
