CVE-2024-27108

Physically proximate file access via incorrect permissions

Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Incorrect file permissions in GE HealthCare EchoPAC and ImageVault products allow physically proximate attackers to access critical files. Public records do not identify the files or disclose the exact permission assignment that exposes them to nonprivileged access. Physical device access is required; EchoPAC Software Only is affected only with EchoPAC Share, and exploitation can expose patient information or render the system unusable.
