CVE-2024-2710Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked schedule-time copy

Published Mar 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC10U 15.03.06.49 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted schedule request. The setSchedWifi handler passes the POST-controlled schedStartTime value to strcpy, copying it into the fixed 25-byte wlan_switch->begin_time buffer without a length check. Access to the router management interface is required; the public proof of concept overwrites the buffer but does not demonstrate code execution.
