CVE-2024-27099Network attack vector

Remote code execution via failed-flow double free

Published Feb 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Double free in Microsoft Azure uAMQP C before 2023-2-08 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through malformed AMQP data. The link_frame_received function destroys a FLOW handle after flow_create_from_value fails, then reaches a second flow_destroy on that handle. Exploitation requires a compromised Azure account, a low-memory allocation failure on the device, and the ability to overwrite code space.
