Unauthenticated data disclosure via unchecked embed permissions
Published Jul 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Information disclosure in Decidim before 0.27.6 allows remote attackers to access private resources through embed endpoints. Widget controllers locate resources by attacker-supplied slugs without enforcing publication, privacy, tenant, moderation, or withdrawal checks before rendering embed views. No authentication is required, but the resource slug or URL must be inferred; exposure is limited to data rendered by an embeddable resource.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
