System crash via absent Thunderbolt lane check

NULL pointer dereference in the Linux Thunderbolt driver 6.7 allows physically proximate attackers to crash the kernel via device hot-plug. tb_port_do_update_credits() assumes a second lane adapter exists and reads its credit data through a null port when a Thunderbolt 1 device exposes only lane 0. Physical access and a one-lane Thunderbolt 1 device are required, and the reported consequence is a kernel crash.
