Kernel warning via repeated conntrack confirmation

Improper packet handling in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to trigger warnings via promiscuous bridge traffic. The br_netfilter input path sends cloned packets intended for taps through br_nf_local_in, which confirms an already-associated conntrack object. Reachability requires a promiscuous bridge, br_netfilter processing, and traffic directed to a tap; published evidence demonstrates warning splats, not a crash.
