Host kernel-address disclosure via uncleared LBR state

Information disclosure in Linux KVM 6.0 through affected 6.x branches allows guest OS users to read host kernel addresses via adaptive PEBS. The KVM x86 PMU path leaves host Last Branch Record MSRs in place on vCPU entry and generates adaptive records even for basic guest requests. The attack requires code execution inside a KVM guest on an adaptive-PEBS-capable Intel host; it exposes host kernel control-flow addresses without enabling a host crash or arbitrary write.
