Authenticated object injection via post meta deserialization
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in Muffin Group BeTheme 27.5.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through post metadata. The theme deserializes the untrusted mfn-page-items post meta value without validating the serialized object type. Contributor-level access is required; BeTheme supplies no known POP chain, but a chain from another installed component enables file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
