Memory handling in Linux kernel mlx5 RDMA allows local users to read or alter kernel data and interrupt service through local sends. The set_eth_seg path copies an inline Ethernet header through the two-byte eseg->inline_hdr.start member, spanning adjacent structure storage until the patch declares a flexible data array. Reachability requires low-privileged local access to a system using the mlx5 RDMA send path; published records identify no remote trigger.
