Local system crash via premature DSC dereference

NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel AMD display driver allows local users to crash affected systems during DSC packet setup. link_set_dsc_pps_packet() passes dsc->ctx->logger to DC_LOGGER_INIT before checking whether the dsc pointer is NULL. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and a display path that reaches DSC packet setup; the reported consequence is loss of availability.
