Kernel memory corruption via stale HFI buffer

Memory corruption in the Linux Intel HFI driver allows local users to corrupt kernel memory during deep suspend or hibernation resume. The resume path can leave hardware programmed with the restore kernel's discarded HFI buffer address, so subsequent HFI table writes target memory owned by the restored image kernel. Exploitation requires Intel HFI hardware and a deep suspend or hibernation cycle; corruption can expose or alter kernel memory or crash the system.
