CVE-2024-26577Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Application hang via oversized UDP JSON number

Published Mar 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Denial of service in VSeeFace 1.13.38c2 and earlier allows remote attackers to hang the application via a spoofed UDP packet. The iPhone/ARKit tracking receiver accepts unauthenticated UDP JSON and hangs while processing a numeric value containing at least 10 digits. Exposure requires the receiver to be active and network-reachable; one forged packet can make the avatar session unusable without altering data.
