Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
Insecure permissions in Wondershare Filmora 13.0.51 allow local users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM through NativePushService. The installer grants all local users full control of the directory containing WsNativePushService.exe, which the service runs as SYSTEM. A local low-privileged user must replace the executable and wait for or trigger a system reboot, after which the service launches the replacement with SYSTEM privileges.
