CVE-2024-26504Public exploit

Open redirect via unvalidated dst parameter

Published May 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Open redirect in WiFire Hotspot 4.5.3 allows physically proximate attackers to redirect captive-portal users via a crafted dst parameter. The captive portal accepts an attacker-controlled dst value as its navigation destination without restricting redirection to a trusted origin. Access to the hotspot network is the documented proximity gate; public materials establish browser redirection, not the source record's unexplained arbitrary-code impact.
