Stored script execution via unencoded gallery names
Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
Stored XSS in Flusity CMS 2.33 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary scripts through a crafted Gallery name. The Media Gallery with description module accepts the Gallery name and inserts it into generated HTML without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to view the affected gallery, after which the script runs in that victim's browser under the site's origin.
