Browser script execution via unescaped search reflection
Published Feb 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Reflected XSS in zhimengzhe iBarn 1.5 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via offer.php. The offer.php search path places the search parameter into the generated page without neutralizing quote and tag delimiters. Exploitation requires a victim to open an attacker-crafted URL; the injected script runs in the iBarn origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
