Service crash via freed Calyptia context write
Published Feb 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
Use-after-free in Fluent Bit 2.2.2 allows remote attackers to crash the service during Calyptia output initialization. The setup_cloud_output error path frees the ctx allocation, after which its caller assigns the returned output pointer through ctx->o. The Calyptia custom output must reach that error path; public materials do not identify the network input that causes the condition or report data access or modification.
