Layout-place deletion via tokenless administrator request
Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Flusity CMS 2.33 allows remote attackers to delete layout places through a victim's administrator session. The /core/tools/delete_place.php handler accepts a POST containing action=delete_place and an arbitrary place_id without requiring a CSRF token. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to load attacker-controlled content, and successful requests delete the selected layout-place record.
