Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered SourceIP
Published Mar 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway 6.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries. The /protocol/firewall/addfirewall.php handler inserts the SourceIP element from FireWallTableArray into an SQL statement without validation or neutralization. A valid PHP session is required, and the published time-delay payload demonstrates database-query control rather than operating-system command execution.
