CVE-2024-2639Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session impersonation via fixed session identifier

Published Mar 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024

Session fixation in Bdtask M-Store 1.0 and Wholesale Inventory Management System through 20240311 allows remote attackers to reuse victim sessions. The CNA does not identify the affected endpoint or explain how the application accepts or retains an attacker-chosen session identifier. Exploitation requires a victim to interact with an attacker-supplied session and authenticate, after which the attacker can alter account state through that fixed session.
