Browser script execution via unneutralized lang parameter
Published Mar 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in Cegid Meta4 HR 819.001.022 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted URL. The /sitetest/english/dumpenv.jsp endpoint accepts an untrusted lang query value that becomes executable markup when the generated page is rendered. No authentication is required, but a user must open the crafted request; script execution remains limited to that user's browser context.
