Out-of-bounds access in QEMU 7.1.0 through 8.2.1 allows guest OS users to cause an availability interruption via SR-IOV writes. nvme_sriov_pre_write_ctrl() trusts PCI_SRIOV_NUM_VF as the enabled-VF count and indexes the secondary-controller array beyond its bounds when the configured and enabled counts differ. Administrative guest access to an emulated NVMe controller with SR-IOV is required; the exact interruption mode is not publicly specified.
