Credential disclosure via RSA decryption timing oracle

Timing side channel in iPerf3 before 3.17 with OpenSSL before 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to recover RSA-authentication credential plaintext. The decrypt_rsa_message path processes attacker-supplied authentication ciphertext with PKCS#1 v1.5 RSA padding, exposing decryption timing differences that provide an oracle. Exploitation requires an iPerf3 server configured for RSA authentication and a large number of chosen-ciphertext requests; the bounded consequence is disclosure of authentication credentials.
