CVE-2024-26279

Cross-site scripting via insufficient Wrapper input validation

Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Joomla! CMS affected releases allows attackers to execute script through insufficiently validated Wrapper input. The Wrapper extensions pass insufficiently validated input into web-page output, but Joomla has not disclosed the affected parameter or exact sanitization failure. Joomla has not published the required privileges or victim interaction, so exposure depends on whether untrusted input reaches a configured Wrapper extension.
