Cross-site scripting via unencoded URL fragment redirect

Cross-site scripting in Liferay Portal and DXP allows remote attackers to inject script through a crafted URL fragment. After an AJAX portlet load, Frontend JS portlet.js assigns window.location.hash directly to window.location.href, causing unencoded fragment content to be reinterpreted as a navigation target. A user must open the crafted URL; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied script in the portal origin and can access or alter data available to that browser session.
