CVE-2024-26251Network attack vector

Content spoofing via undisclosed cross-site scripting

Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated May 3, 2025

Cross-site scripting in SharePoint Server 2016, 2019, and Subscription Edition allows remote attackers to spoof web content. Microsoft identifies improper neutralization during web-page generation but has not published the affected endpoint, parameter, or rendering path. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted URL; successful script execution can expose or alter data in that user's SharePoint context.
