Secure Boot bypass in Microsoft Windows allows local users with administrative privileges to bypass boot-time signature enforcement. Microsoft states that the April 9, 2024 updates modify Windows Boot Manager and other components, but has not published the erroneous operation or attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires local administrative access; the resulting bypass permits untrusted boot code to evade Secure Boot protections.
