Local privilege escalation via buffer over-read

Buffer over-read in the Windows USB Print Driver in affected Microsoft Windows releases allows local users to elevate privileges. The driver reads beyond a buffer boundary, while NIST additionally identifies improper synchronization of a shared resource; no affected function or input path is public. Exploitation requires low privileges and a difficult local race, and Microsoft does not identify the resulting privilege level.
