Heap-based buffer overflow in Secure Boot in Microsoft Windows allows physically proximate attackers to bypass boot integrity checks. Microsoft identifies the weakness as a heap-based overflow but has not disclosed the affected routine, processed input, or unchecked write. Exploitation requires physical access and can defeat the boot trust boundary before Windows starts.
